Our checking fixtures for large parts are especially designed and manufactured according to the problematic of their production system and type of material. This group of parts includes bumpers, dashboards, interior linings, windows mechanisms, etc.
We can propose you the following types of checking fixtures :
- Cubing with aluminium founding structure
- Machined and welded positioning fixture or positioner
- Aluminium profile positioning fixture or positioner
- Structure with isostatisms and checking elements
Alignment and fixations:
- Simple or specific isostatisms: floating cylinder, cone or diamond-shaped
- Fixations and RPS bearings in tempered steel
- Standard or specific clamps
- Opening fixations to remove the part without damaging it and to ensure repeatability
- Representation of special clips and fixations
- Threaded elements to be used for the same bearing application as clamps
Checking systems:
- Attribute checks by specific or standard Go/No Go gauges
- Gap and flush checks by checking pins
- Representation of adjacent mobile elements
- Location or concentricity checks by floating checking pins
- Variable checks by dial indicators: fixed, adjustable, with special contact points, etc.
- Storing area for dial indicator, calibration gauge, box for parts.
- Check by sensors or dial indicator with measurement data collection
- Pneumatic elements to automate the measuring process
- Dynamometer or devices for measurement of forces, pressure, angles, etc.
- Units for SPC (Statistical Process Control) of data collection
- Colours or text identification code
The materials we use will never damage or be damaged by any part or by corrosion, as we use the materials as well as the heat and surface treatments adapted to each and every case.
Each checking fixture can be delivered with:
- Wooden box or special packaging
- Transport cart
- Dimensional report
- User manual
- 3D geometry and 2D plan
- R+R study
In each case we prepare a foreproject with the optimal proposition as for quality and price, that will be manufactured once approved by the customer.
Moreover, we also propose positioning fixtures for the bearing of parts having to be frequently measured during the mass production.
