When designing and manufacturing your checking fixtures for tubes and ducts, we think about the problematic or their production process.
Bent Tubes and Welded Assemblies
Our checking fixtures for bent tubes or welded tubes assemblies are particularly useful for:
- Adjusting of bending machines
- Checking of total length
- Checking of angles and middle points
- Checking of the position of welded elements with holes
In the case of a more hand-crafted bending process, such as in the aircraft sector or for motorbikes, the fixture can be used both to manufacture and check the part, by enabling to mount and dismount the elements necessary for the realisation of the work.
Plastic Ducts
As for puffed or injected plastic ducts, for ventilation or heating systems, we check:
- Position and inclination of holes
- Holes in the fixation points of the tubes, as well as points with possible interferences.
In each case we prepare a foreproject with the optimal proposition as for quality and price, that will be manufactured once approved by the customer.

1. Checking fixture for aluminium tube. Reproduction of the tube shape for every straight section and check of one extremity by centring the tube on the opposite extremity.

2. Checking fixture for welded steel tubes assembly (motorbike collector). Alignment by the platinum holes welded to the tubes and check of the 4 extremity holes and of the straight sections with a Go/No Go Gauge.

3. Checking fixture for Central Duct of a Heating System made in puffed plastic. The alignment is made in the central holes; we check the position of the extremity holes, by measuring their position with a dial indicator. We also check the position of the holes in the fixation points of the tube.
