Examples of Checking Fixtures made by Tecnomatrix
Checking fixture for a rear-view mirror support
Control of the part deformation with nineteen dial indicator points. Three points are mounted on folding towers, to save space on the base plate. Two holes machined in the base plate allow the access to the part lower side dial indicator points. Two set squares allow to turn the checking fixture upside down for a better access to these holes.
Positioning fixture for a bumper
This checking fixture supports the bumper for tridimensional measurements. Fixed blocks reproduce the part shape to control it. The positioning fixture is mounted on a wheeled cart to move it more easily.
Cubing checking fixture for a bumper
The checking fixture provides a full check of the part, with a reproduction of its shape by fixed blocks. The deviation is measured by dial indicator points. The part is fastened to the fixture thanks to fastening pins. All the checking fixture blocks can be moved, so that the fixture can also be used as a positioner for tridimensional measurements. The checking fixture has an aluminium founding base plate.
Checking fixture for surfaces deviations
By dial indicator, gap and flush for a stamped metal part. The dial indicator towers are mounted on folding towers, for a better management of the base plate space considering the quantity of controls on the part.
Go/No Go Gauge
The Go/No Go gauge reproduces the part interior shape, and allows to control the part without support. The gauge checking part is made of steel, with a plastic handle.
